Will Treatment Court Help Get My Job Back

My question involves criminal law for the state of: pennsylania I arrested for marrijuiana 3 months ago and my lawyer have gotten me a treatment court program that expunges in a year. I have been working for the state 8 years and is suspended without pay or benefits the human resource director says i cannot come back if charges is dropped to misdeanor or something written from the courts will treatment court save my job or if im better off going to trial

Only the human resources department can answer that. It doesn't matter if the charge gets expunged - your employer knows about the arrest and can terminate your employment consistent with their employment policies.

Also consider what are the chances that you would win at trail,getting the charge expunged sounds like a good deal if your guilty and the state can prove. It sounds you might have to admit wronging doing and hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Try getting the case dismissed thru even if that happens the job still see the arrest and figure your guilty.

I would look for a job outside of government.
