Default Changing Mind After Applying for OPT

    Greetings,

I already applied couple of weeks ago for my OPT. I will be graduating from college in a month from now. For personal reasons I was thinking to come back an extra semester next year. I don't know yet if my OPT was approved or not. But, i was wondering if i could change my mind, not get the OPT until this upcoming semester.

    Thank you for your time,

    AlanM11

There's information here on canceling an application for OPT, and how the completion of your program or the status of the application affect the process of cancellation. Make up your mind as to what you're going to do, and act accordingly.
