Default What Are the Grounds for Emancipation

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: North Carolina
I am 16 but I have been researching emancipation for a few years... There are a lot of emotional issues, I suppose you could say, going on where I am living. I honestly need help trying to figure out if in my situation, I have good grounds for emancipation and I need a more simplified version of the law so that I am clear. These issues have become serious as they are affecting my ability to do well in school and it is also affecting me physically... I really need help. I've tried everything that I can.

If you have been researching it for a few years, you would know your likelyhood of success is next to none and slim just left town. If you are truly being abused, report it to social services or call 911. If they feel you are in danger or are suffering untoward abuse, they will place you in a foster home.

This is a valid reason for emancipation:

"My parents were killed in a car crash and I need the legal right to sign contracts so I can pay the rent and the light bill and take care of my younger siblings."

This is not a valid reason for emancipation:

"I don't get along with my parents."

Even this is not a valid reason for emancipation:

    "My parents are beating me."

(Reason three may be a valid reason for the state to step in, but it will not be to emancipate you....)

So, what full time job do you have that will allow you to pay 100% of your own support including rent, utilities, food, clothing, transportation, insurance, medical care, staples, school fees and supplies, etc...while still going to school and getting better than average grades?
