Default Minor in Possession of Paraphernalia

I have a friend who is a minor and is exactly 7 days from the date of this post from being 18 years of age and was caught in Ohio with a very tiny bit of weed, which from my understanding will be a fine of probably $150 as it was much MUCH less than 100 g (actually the smallest bit in the corner of the bag), and paraphernalia, but there was a glass bowl, a one hitter, a metal bowl, and a wooden pipe. The cop let and my two other friends off the hook as we did not have anything and also the cop was very nice and my friend was beyond cooperative in which the cop was laughing in the car with him and the officer marked cooperation as great. We were all sent home after my friend signed papers which I'm guessing is the paraphernalia issues, and we could not drive the car home as he could not tell if we were under the influence or not. Again, my friend is currently a minor and was in possession of four bowls and this is a first time offense with NO criminal record. My question is what charges, fines, etc, will he possibly face? He is willing to do community service, take classes to stray from drugs, etc. Also, he may not be able to afford a lawyer, but his income may be acceptable for him to afford his lawyer, as his stepdad makes decent money as an engineer, but does not really provide for much, and his mom's salary is low. As far as I know, the cop said there would be no jail time, and he even admitted to smoking dope in college but he played and said the difference between them is that he didn't get caught lol. What is the expected outcome without a lawyer, and how much in fines will the paraphernalia be? I apologize for the length of this, but i would greatly appreciate any help on my topic.

Default Minor in Possession of Paraphernalia

So a friend of mine was caught in Ohio with 4 bowls and a very tiny bit of weed (not even a bowls worth in his car) and he is a minor. (His birthday is exactly 7 days from the date of this post). To go along with this, it is a first time offense with NO criminal record. When the officer approached his car (was not pulled over), nobody was smoking and there was no smell. He cooperated very well, and the officer even laughed with him while they were both in the front seat of the officers vehicle and his cooperation was marked as great. The cop even had normal conversation with everyone after he called my friend's mom. The officer also stated that there would be no jail time, and no arresting. My friend is also very remorseful and does not plan on smoking again. Other friends of mine were in the car but were off of the hook because they didnt have anything. After signing papers, everyone was allowed to go home by transportation of my friends mother. I was just curious as to what charges could be brought on by this (I'm aware of the $150 fine for the weed itself) and if anyone thinks that jail time or juvie may be possible from this. From me speaking to people and by his cooperation and no previos criminal acts, I am expecting him to get probation, community service, and fines, but I was wondering what all options there were as well. Again, he is a minor, had 4 bowls and very tiny amount of weed, and has no criminal record. I would greatly appreciate any help on this topic, and I apologize for length.

Default Minor in Possession of Paraphernalia: Four Bowls

I was curious as to if a minor (17 years old, birthday exactly 7 days from now) having a first offense and no criminal record would be allowed a deffered adjudication or diversion or whatever it is to avoid driver's license suspension and conviction or whatever. Was in possession of four bowls and tiny amount of marijuana in Ohio, which marijuana is least of worries and probably will result in fine. Again, is minor, has NO criminal record, and cooperated very well with officer and was allowed to go home by transportation of parent after signing papers. Also, if not allowed deffered adjudication, what charges would be possible? Court date is soon. I need urgent help on this.

Were you seeing triple when you posted this?

Are you (I mean, is your friend) charged in juvenile court or as an adult?

No, the first time I didn't know how the posts work and I thought it went away, and the third one was because I figured court would be really soon but it's not yet. My friend is charged in juvenile court to answer your question. I was also wondering if the paraphernalia would be charged as one or multiple counts of paraphernalia.
