Have a quick question, hopefully someone can shine some light on this.
Can a Real-estate purchase contract that has been signed and is in escrow be changed to add an additional buyer by adding an addendum?
The house is already in escrow, however the buyer "Jane Doe" wants to add her son "John Doe" as a Buyer. Can a addendum be added something along the lines of
" Jane Doe will be known as (Jane Doe and John Doe) All other terms remain the same."
Is this a legal way to add an additional buyer or would a new contract need to be issued?
What is the proper and legal way to do this?
