Default Married and Overstayed After Entering on Visa Waiver

Visa Weaver because it allowed me to enter because i was from the UK. After being here for a few days spending time with her i told her about the feeling i had for her and that coming over just made them stronger. Not thinking about where this put me with the Visa Weaver we got married. I though we could just get everything situated and be able to work but my wife lost her job meaning she doesn't have the funds to sponsor me. I was meant to leave May 2011 but i could not leave my wife or my kids(step). I should of done things differently but i did not know at the time. I am in my early 20's and cant do anything. I need to fix this mess i got myself into but i just do not know how. I cant go back to the UK because i cant bare not being with my family. Please help.

You need to speak with an immigration attorney.

That's one of the consequences of your actions. Had you returned home as promised, it would not be an issue.

The fact that you hate your family in the UK is not grounds to illegally stay in the US. I suggest you take your wife to the UK, if you want to keep your family together.

The best advice is to take your family to a country where you can legally work. If they love you, they will go.
