My question involves an eviction in the state of: California
I am looking at having my wife move back into our house which is about three hours away from where i work. I plan on getting a rental out here for a lot less then what i currently pay (I am in a financial hardship). We currently have renters that are renting for about 275 less than my mortgage. They signed a year lease. Can I give them a 30 day notice? Also the lease stated the could not paint or do pretty much anything to the house without written consent. They Painted and did something with a light fixture. I don't want to evict them and take them to court and have it hit there credit. They are young and we were helping them out. Now they are pretty much treating us like crap and wont answer phone calls and are trying to refuse anything we send them. Also they signed the lease and did not pay the Deposit and said they would when they could. Its been about a month is there anything i can do about that? Any help is appreciated.
