    Just hope your city offers a program as good as mine does.
    Many cities DON'T. Which is why we tell people to speak with an attorney.

    In some jurisdictions, you can't even ask for a diversion program without an attorney, so before you get all high and mighty about not needing an attorney, you might consider that not all criminals will be as lucky as you were.

    I post from experience. You see, three years ago I was a shoplifter appearing in court.
