My question involves traffic court in the State of: California , San Francisco.

After recently losing a TWBD, I went down to clerks office to request copies of the officers notes / evidence he submited to the court to find me guilty, as there was no reason given for the guilty verdict. I also wanted this to prepare for my TDN. The clerk insisted they do not have any of this information. .They called the supervisor over the supervisor said that they do not have a this information and directed department called police legal. I visited police legal department they gave me a strange look and sent me on my way.

quirkyquark advised to take the following it down to the clerks office;

I did so when I went to the smartest looking clark who did actually took her time and try to find the answer to the situation, went to her supervisor who looked at it for quite some time came back and both insisted that in san francisco since the documents did not originate from the clerks office they do not keep it in the clerk's office. Again they directed me to police legal. She did sign the letter I provided and indicated that they do NOT have this information in the clerks office in case I need it for the judge. Again they sent me to Police legal. This time after visiting police legal, a sergeant who came out and gave me a pre printed forms for informal discovery that he said they would get to the issuing department and officer.

The problem that I do not want the infromation that they might use this time around for a new trial, I want to see what was filed with the court and was used to find me guilty for my trial by written declaration. I need to see that there was evidence filed and used against me for the guilty verdict in my tb wd.

What can I do to get them to provide me this information?

Quirkyquark wrote in the form above he told me to take in, that I would file a writ of mandate, if this is necesary how and where would I file this? If there is a better way to compel this what can I do?.
At the TDN I think I would be limited to bringing up issues related to the previous case ....
