Default How to Increase Odds of Visa Approval

I have posted a few threads in immigration issues over the past few weeks about my Australian girlfriend who wants to visit the U.S. after running into immigration trouble in the past. Since I see the same few people replying to these threads I don't think I need to explain her entire case again. All that is really needed to explain here is that I've talked to an immigration attorney who confirmed that she has no bar from entry, just a ban from visa waiver system. He also warned her that it is very unlikely that a visa application for tourism will be approved.

I was just wondering how she is supposed to enter America again if she has no bar, but also has slim chances of getting a visa? Is there anything she can do to increase the odds of a visa approval? Would things such as proof of employment, family, car ownership, and other ties to Australia be enough evidence to convince a Consulate that she doesn't intend to stay in the U.S.? The reason I don't ask the attorney is because he decided to start charging me for any further information, but I'm extremely confused how she can get back into the U.S. for the summer.

If she had a job paying 100k p/ year or a home valued at 200k and a job, in Australia and was taking her accumulated 3 weeks of vacation from work, having been there for 12 years, she might get approved.

The more ties she has to Australia and the stronger the ties, the better her chances. We, however, cannot identify or build those ties for her.

Why would you think an attorney should work for free? Charging for his time and professional services is certainly appropriate.

Well I'm not interested in paying a lawyer for giving me information that anyone can find for free on the internet. When you're in college, especially after you've spent several thousand dollars you don't have visiting Australia, getting as much as you can as cheaply as you can is pretty important. I'm sure anyone here who's ever been in college can understand what its like to truly be broke...
