My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Colorado

A year ago, I moved into a condo in which there are various renters and owners. Before I moved in I made it a point to check out the place in the morning and evening because I cannot tolerate noise (PTSD). I made sure to tell the landlord this as well. After moving in I did enjoy where I was living till a couple months later a noisy neighbor moved in. It started with incessant noise that I thought was the laying down of wood floors of some sort. Then it was music at 8am, then the loud walking about the place. I tried to deal with it but decided to inform the building manager. He insisted that I go and talk to this person so I did. Nothing changed. Then I had written a letter to him stating that his noise was disturbing and I had even included dates and times. I had even sent a copy to my landlord informing her of the issue. The landlord had finally talked to the management company and they had supposedly sent the neighbor a warning letter.

There was retaliation then no more noise till a couple of months later. Music was blasting again and i waited to see if he would turn it down but it kept on going. This time I contacted the police who had told the neighbor to turn down the music and right after the officer left, the neighbor retaliated by slamming closet doors, blatantly stomping in one place. I had called the cops to inform them of what was now going on and the officer stated "There's nothing I can do if he's acting like an immature idiot. If the music starts up again after 9 I can come back out." I ended up staying over at my neighbor across the hall from me till it was ten.

The next day i had informed my landlord of the incident and she was going to call the management company and send out a warning/fine. After speaking to her I went out to walk my dog and hadn't realized that the noisy neighbor had followed me out of my apartment to tell me off. I did NOT engage with him at all and went home pretty shook up. The noisy neighbor returned home around 6pm and proceeded to pound on the floor and in certain areas. This went on from 7pm to 9:58pm. I called the police just as he was doing it to get the dispatcher to hear it and she sent police out and this time they came with paperwork.

The next day all was quiet. Saturday morning I received an email from my landlord stating that she had gotten a call from someone in the building stating that the police had shown up when the noisy neighbor wasn't making any noise and told me not to call the police. She also said that management claims that I have three dogs which was a blatant lie. I immediately called her to inform her of what had happened and why I had called the police and that I have the one dog that is on the lease.

At this point I really want out of this place, out of this lease because it has done nothing but exacerbate my PTSD and I do not trust the old bats that live in this building. Is the grounds for me to break my lease?
