So, you, your wife, and child were living in a commercial truck that you were also driving for employment? There has to be more to the story than just that. Were you hauling hazardous materials that your child was in danger of being exposed to? Did you take your child into hazardous conditions (for a 2 y/o child) during the day, while you were working? Were you able to provide your child with basic needs like food and sanitary facilities? I have a hard time believing that your parental rights were terminated by the court (usually a lengthy process) just because you were sleeping in the cab of a semi. Even in Utah, the courts don’t consider homelessness to be a valid reason to permanently remove a child from parents.
