I am trying to purchase a home from a woman in the beginning of foreclosure proceedings.
Her ex husband was ordered off of the title to the home in 1991, along with other things like paying child support, deeding a car to her, etc. He split town and nobody has seen him since then. He did not execute a deed transfer.
She needs to sell the home but obviously cannot do this without getting him off the title.
Does anyone know the proper way to go about this and how long and costly of a process this is going to be?
