My question involves an auto loan or repossession in the State of: Pennsylvania

The car is owned by my husband. The "bank" people showed up at my door asking for my husband. He wasn't home and I said he wasn't home. The car was obviously not in the driveway. They said they were there in regards to the car. We are behind on payments. They asked me what our intentions were for the car. I said we are going to pay for it. I said I would call the Financial Services Department RIGHT NOW to make CC/Debit payment since they are on the west coast. They said "OK. Take care of it." Financial Services are in central time zone. I called them and I missed them by 20 minutes. The "bank" guys didn't wait for me to let them know whether or not I got the Financial Services dept on the phone.

I missed them by 20 minutes - since they are in central time zone- and now I am freaking out. They won't open until 8 am central time tomorrow morning.

Will the "bank people" come back in the middle of the night and take the car?? Or will they check with Financial Services tomorrow to be sure the loan was brought up to date?? A double payment will bring it right up to date and I am making a triple payment in the morning to knock out February's payment.

I am just worried about overnight tonight.

Please advise. Thanks!!
