My question involves a marriage in the state of: Florida
Hello!
After dating for a few yrs my husband and I got married in March of 2006 in Fla. and we both reside here. About 2 yrs after we were married I regularly discovered some pretty significant lies and the withholding of information on my husband's part, such as years of unpaid federal and state taxes, he had no 401K retirement account (when he told me he had a fairly significant one), etc. The last lie was that 6 months ago, I discovered he has no college degree in education and never worked as a teacher in the past (as he told me, current and previous employers and many others he did), nor does he have a degree of any kind whatsoever. After 2 yrs of co-habitation as husband & wife, he worked out of state for almost 2 yrs, then moved back "home" for the last 2 yrs. In case it may be significant to my ability to have this marriage annulled, I will disclose that we have had practically no marital relations in the last 4 out of almost 6 yrs married, and none-whatsoever in the last 2 yrs. I want to have this marriage annulled because he's a fraud and not the man he told me he was. He has admitted to me and a marriage counselor we saw for a few sessions that he knew I'd never marry him if he didn't lie to me about who he was and what he's accomplished in life. I make 2 to 3 times the money he does and feel he committed fraud and married me for financial gain. Is there any way I can have this marriage annulled?
