My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Kansas
I was working in a very stressful environment first because I had to work very long hours and second because my supervisor was a very rude and disrespectful person. I complained about her and it just made my job worse and nothing was done to her. I never got properly trained so I was not doing my job properly and got in trouble for such. At the time I was having anxiety attacks and did not have any time to take off, so I lied to my boss and told her I got in a car accident, she had a person from HR call me about medical leave and I told her the truth that I was having anxiety attacks and was under the care of a doctor and she said everything would be fine and they would hold my job. My manager saw me in public, they fired me, I applied for unemployment got denied and recently appealed.
