    Default Running Away from Home

My question involves guardianship in the State of: Illinois

I APOLOGIZE IF I DID NOT POST IN THE RIGHT SECTION, PLEASE DIRECT ME IN THE COMMENTS IF I DID NOT.

My girlfriend and I are in high school.
She is pregnant with my kid, we need to tell her parents.
If something bad happens, can she run away and live at my house?
Or would it be illegal and would she be dragged out of my house by the cops?
    Please help, thanks.

If she is over 18, she can go anywhere she wants.

If she is under 18, then she cannot leave home without parental permission. Even if she is pregnant. Even if her parents yell at her.

And make no mistake, she will NOT be allowed to live at your house. Even if.

I just turned 18, but she hasnt. I heard that if her parents knew where she was and she was still went through a day like she normally would, then it would not be considered "running away". So legally she would not be considered a "runaway".

You would go to jail, for a long time. When you get out, a good job will be beyond your grasp, due to your record. On the other hand, there is no reason, if she and her parents go along with it, you cannot obtain custody of the baby or marry her.

    That's completely incorrect.

She stays where her parents say right up until she turns 18. Period. Even if. With regards to your other thread, it depends on how old your girlfriend is.

You're quite coy about that - but truly, if you want an answer, we need to know.

If she is even one minute under 18, her parents have complete control over where she lives. If she runs away, she can get her little ass dragged right back home whenever her parents decide. She will be considered a runaway right up to the minute she either turns 18 or her parents decide to allow her to stay where she is. And if they change their minds after that, then she becomes a runaway again if she does not return home the very SECOND she is told to.
