My question involves insurance law for the state of: NEVADA
Person a - other party
Person b - me
Person a hit a 4x4 concrete wall. Person a - hits my non insured race car, my race car hits a second race car. Person's a then hits my RV.
I called my home owners they said they will cover the wall but the repair is probably $800 but I have a 1000 deductible. The race cars are not covered since they are motor vehicles, same with the RV.
I called Person a insurance to start a claim ( Farmers ) Person A is not the insured driver. He is a family member of the registered owner.
The vehicle of person a is listed like this. ...
Vehicle registered to his family member...
Insurance policy is under someone elses name.
My home owner insurance is not helpful ...
The cars insurance says Its not likely for me to collect...
The kid claimed the car stolen ... a couple days later he admitted to driving the car.
Theres maybe 10K damage done to my car 1 ... I have about 25K in parts in this car.
My car 2 has maybe 50K in parts in it...
My RV has about 20K in upgrades done to it.
Walls repair value is 500-800
I called the nevada bar and they advised me to contact one of the listed lawyers. I called half of them.
I was advised :
Both insurances probably wont cover the accident...
My only option is to either eat it or sue the kid ...
If I win a judgment the kid will most likely file for BK and I wont get anything out of it...
The vehicles were suppose to be transferred 12-26-11 to NW USA for preparation for race season.
The vehicles are not commercial use they are all recreational.
Im just looking for some advice because seriously this has been the worse experience I have gone through and EVERYONE I talk to tells me WOW theres nothing we can do for you...
The kid was drunk when he hit my cars ... It took the police three hours for them to get there and about 15 min before they got there he took off!
Options ? Prayers ? Any constructive feedback is truly appreciated.
