Money owed to you is one thing, but when you, by your own admission, refuse to identify yourself, you negate a claim that the conversation was for the legit purpose of collecting the debt, opening the door for that contact to be of some OTHER nature. In reality, the DA isn't likely to throw a lot of resources or taxpayer money at this by pursuing a criminal charge. But it's not impossible. So if you want to collect on a debt, quit horsing around, spoofing, and potentially getting yourself into hot water that could cost you a LOT more than the $80 you're trying to collect, and do what creditors do: take the debtor to court (and dont' forget to ask the the debtor pay any costs and fees).
