Default Unauthorized Credit Card While in Chapter 13

My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Maryland

I obtained a small unsecured credit card ($300 limit) to help rebuild my credit. While searchin online, to my surprise I found out that I am not supposed to obtain any kind of credit while in Chapter 13. I called my lawyer, he simply said don't use the card anymore and pay it off. I am wondering should I close the account? Or should I let my trustee know?

Do as your attny advises. Since you have not run up a large bill it is not a big deal. Just pay it off.
