Angry How Do I Get a Judgement Off My Credit when It Was Included in the Discharge

My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: California
To whom it may concern, I filed for a chapter 7 bankruptcy and have since discharged the bankruptcy. Originally when I filled out the questionnaire for the bankruptcy, it asked to list all debtors and creditors, so I listed the mortgage company who held the notes. The questionnaire also asked to put down any legal proceedings or lawsuits, so I provided a case number from the same mortgage company who was doing everything to sue me, even after I foreclosed on the property, and they had possession of the house.

After the bankruptcy was discharged, the mortgage company attached a judgement on my credit for the amount that I owed for my former mortgage. I called and informed my former Attorney who handled my bankruptcy, and they told me I would have to pay them more money to get it cleared off my credit. How can I get this removed myself? I want to fix my credit, but the judgment is hurting me.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!!

Judgments are public records. If you had a money judgment against you, odds are the credit reporting agency obtained the information as a matter of public record, not as a matter of its having been reported by the creditor.

I cannot see your credit report from where I'm sitting, nor do I have any access to your court records. Are you suggesting that your credit report lists the judgment as having been issued, but discharged? If so, that's accurate information. If the judgment is shown as not having been discharged, was the discharge properly reported to the court that issued the judgment? If so, you can dispute the inaccurate information with the CRA who should then confirm the discharge with the court. If not, you need to properly report the discharge to the court that issued the judgment so that they update their records accordingly, and then ask the CRA to correct its records.
