    I an advice ,I was charged with petty theft n been ask to appear in court,what do I do

    Hire a lawyer and appear in court. Don't talk about it to your friends.

    Plead not guilty and hire a lawyer,if you can't afford one then ask the court for a public defender. Ask your lawyer if a diversion program is avabile,it will dismiss the charge if you stay out of trouble for a certain amount of time.
