I just got my spotless record defiled. Never had any run-ins with the law until a week ago, and now I'm just plain confused.

The scenario-
Friend calls me drunk from a club, late at night. Real drunk. And he was there alone. So I decide to go pick him up, along with another friend so he can drive my car back. We get there and the parking lot is FULL. About 200 vehicles accross the lot. The club wasn't closing for another 10mins so we were waiting outside in the lot when some cop walks over and asks us to leave.
I argued with him for a bit, explaining the situation but he wasnt budging. He then started making threats. At this point I turn to my friend and decide we might as well just go down the block and wait for the place to close before coming back. We walk back to the car, cop follows. So we get in the car and I start the vehicle, and put it in reverse only to see the cop right behind my vehicle taking down my plate number. I could have ran hi over. At this point I'm pissed off so I open my door and lean out with one foot still in the vehicle asking him what his problem was. He reached for his Taser! I immediately asked him "What do you intend to do with that, officer? I'm posing no threat to you, I'm in MY vehicle, not threatening you, and you intend to hit me with that? " He thought twice about it, then holstered it back in.
I asked him for his badge id and that was the last straw for him.... He arrested me.

I spent the night in Jail. Duval County Jail, Jacksonville Fl. The next afternoon I plead "No contest" to the "Trespassing" misdemeanor so I can get out of there immediately with no hassles. I'm in the military and had to be on duty the next day and the service doesnt take kindly to members missing work due to legal scuffles.

Now my problem is- I have a secret clearance which I intend to utilise in securing a decent job in the next couple of months but I'm worried about this misdemeanor popping up. The whole thing is just confusing.

My questions are:

Does a "no contest" plea count as a CONVICTION?
Does it stay in my record forever, unless "expunged"?
If it does stay in my record, how is it presented? As a misdemeanor? A trespass charge? Details? (Because IMO, If it's gonna be popping up in my record, I'd rather have the whole info show up so people realise how trifle it is)
Most importantly- Can I enjoy a NORMAL professional life regardless of such a blemish? How does this affect my professional marketability?

Silly questions? I know......... I'm just going loco here. Can't believe this is happening to me. 4am and I can't sleep.
