Default Do Judges Work Alongside Prosecutors

From my understanding of the court system, the judge and prosecutor are on the same side,
but can the judge sway a prosecutors decisions if the prosecutor thinks otherwise?

obviously it is the prosecutors ultimate decision but are their circumstances in which this does happen?

    Thank you

What led you to the conclusion that the judge and prosecuting attorney are on the "same side"?

They have different roles and are generally paid from different sources.

A judge has final say in things, he or she does not have to SWAY the prosecutor.
