    Default Florida Income Deduction Order

Can anyone help me figure out how to file an Income Deduction Order against my ex for CS.

He pays the CS, but it is never on time and there always has to be an email, text message, or phone call "reminding" him to pay.

He receives a check every month on the same day for the same amount from the military, he is disabled via the military.

I would like to just do this on my own, it doesn't seem like it should be a big deal, or require any lawyers and what not.

The divorce was final in Alachua County aka Gainesville, Florida

    Thanks.

Have you tried getting assistance through the state?

I can get help, but it's such a process.

Florida has to be one of the worst places to live. To any of you out there considering moving here DO NOT DO IT!!!

This state is totally behind the times and so slow with everything.

I was just hoping that I could download the form and mail it in, or go down to the courthouse and file the form.

    Thanks.

Why are you trying to get money from a disabled vet? He gets a check because he can't work. Are you able bodied? Can you work?

Did you read the inquiry? The disabled vet has a child whom he isn't supporting.

The disabled vet sounds like he can barely support himself. Do we now live in a society that says everything is given to you so long as your a child? Then once that child is grown, society attacks that person for another child? Whats the point? If we lived in Africa where not being supported could mean starvation, then sure. But we don't. We live in America where we can afford to give those who need a break a break. . .

I'm sorry that you don't like the fact that parents in this country are expected to support their children.

Default Florida Income Deduction Order Part 2

Why did my thread get closed?

Just so you know, he got hurt because he was driving home from a party on an army base, and fell asleep at the wheel and flipped his car. It had nothing to do with the military, but because he was enlisted we as tax payers have to give him $3500 every month for the rest of his life, because he was an idiot. Really he shouldn't get a cent, he wasn't injured in the line of duty, he was never in any sort of war or anything, he was irresponsible and an idiot, which leaves you me and your kids to pay him for the rest of his life because he fell asleep. That should anger every one of you that reads this.

I work my ass of I make good money and I take care of my family of 5 on 1 income.

He is more then capable of working, granted he isn’t going to be out digging ditches or anything super physical, but there are 1000’s of jobs that he could do with no problem at all. He makes the choice to take his free money, that you and I give him and be a total lazy jerk, and then complain that he is broke. $3500 a month take home that is what he gets because he wrecked his car on a military base.

He is a total jerk, very lazy, and thinks everyone owes him something. Everything about this person is wrong and bad, and he cant even pay $550 a month on time.

Even better, when his son asks him for something like shoes, he tells the boy to get it from us because he pays us child support. The boy just turned 10. Not only that but he gave him a book to read, guess what it was. “Pet Cemetery.” Does that sound like a good dad to you? He let him watch “The longest yard” (Adam Sandler) How’s that sound. He took him to go see “Poseidon” How does that sound? Would you let your 10 year old see or read any of that stuff? If you would then you are just as much of an idiot as this guy.

So before you get all high and mighty about the poor vet, you may want to ask a question or 2. Even if he was injured in the line of duty, which he was not, that doesn’t mean you don’t take care of your kids. If you don’t want to pay child support then let the step-father / mother adopt the child and get the hell out of everyone’s lives.

On top of all that if our out of control government would stop trying to take over the middle east then every person in America would be in better shape.
