    Default Theft of Childcare Reimbursement

My question involves child support in the State of: WA

I am required to pay 58.4% of "work related" childcare by order of child support.

    1. Is attending a technical college considered work related?

2.In 2009 the mother of my child received $1800 in childcare reimbursement from me while attending a technical college. I found out the total costs were $1500 for 2009 and I had her sign a confession that she overcharged me $800 and she agreed in writing to payit back through child support deductions.

I later found out through family court proceedings and documentation that the childcare costs for 2009 were fully covered by grants.

She has now submitted false documents to DCS that say I owe her $1800 in childcare reimbursement for 2010. I have documentation that proves the childcare was fully covered by grants for 2010 as well. I have contested the amounts owed and requested a hearing. We have a telephone hearing coming soon.

Other than the hearing, what can I do to bring these issues to light? What are the possible consequences for her? Can I press charges for theft? Can she be charged with providing false information on state documents?

Thanks in advance for your advice!
