One thing you may want to check out is that I am not sure they can revoke your probation once the probationary term has expired--they usually start the process of revoking a probation prior to expiration of the probationary period. I know we are talking about a minor traffic offense here as opposed to felony probation but it is worth a look if something becomes of it.

Oftentimes if your probation is revoked for such a thing you get a fine and costs on the charge that was the subject of the probation and it ends up going on your driving record if it is not there already.

He means that if you complete your probation and are discharged, you can't be subsequently violated. But that's not what you describe - you describe a deferment conditioned upon your successful completion of probation, and if normal procedures are followed they will check your traffic record and find the violation prior to your being discharged.

That would mean a conviction on (and points from) the ticket, and possibly additional fines, but it's unlikely that there would be further consequence for a civil infraction traffic ticket.
