Say you go to court, and the court emancipates you. Then Dad decides he's not going to give you permission after all. Then what?

My intent here is not to help you get emancipated. My intent is to make you aware of what the law will and will not allow.

Even if the court does decide to emancipate you, and you have provided absolutely no reasons to suggest that they would, in your state it is still 100% up to your father whether to allow you to move out since emancipation in your state does NOT grant you that right. If your father's intent is for the state to grant you all the legal rights of an adult before he allows you to move out, then you aren't going to be moving out because the state isn't going to do that. At most, you will be granted the right to own property.
