    Default Changing Court Date

My question involves traffic court in the State of: Washington

So I am currently waiting to hear back from the courts on my request for a mitigation hearing. I know I have to get notice within 21 days of reciept and it has been 14. I am going out of town on December 26-31 for Christmas. Are there typically court times during that period? If I end up with a trial during that time, how do I go about changing the time? Thanks!

Call the Clerk of the Court. See if your hearing has already been scheduled. If not, be sure they have received your hearing request. Let them know when you'll be out of town. They should be able to accommodate you.
