Default Disorderly Conduct While Blacked Out

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York

Last night I was very intoxicated. The first thing i remember is being in a police car with an officer writing me an appearance ticket for disorderly conduct 240.20(7) and claiming that I urinated in public. This whole situation took place on my college campus. I have never gotten a violation before and i have never appeared in court before either. I am wondering how this will be and what i should do in court. I am most confused because i don't remember actually committing the crime.

Disorderly conduct under Penal Code Sec. 240.20 is a violation. A violation is not a crime, and although a local record is kept it does not go onto your criminal record.

A local lawyer would be the best person to consult about the possibility of resolving the charge without being convicted of a violation. You may want to consider being assessed for an alcohol problem.
