1st, 2nd, 3rd Degree Burglary and Sentencing

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia

My fiance is currently in jail. He is being charged with 2 burglaries. No weapon was used in either one, nothing was really taken, no one was hurt, no one was home, and he has never been charged with a felony, or been in prison. We are waiting for a reccomendation from the DA. He did all this before we ever got together, and now our daughter will be born in April. I would just like to get an idea of what he is facing, and what the degree of his charge is!!!!!

What state was he charged in? THere's no "degrees" on burglary in Georgia. It's a felony and first offense can bring 1 to 20 years in prison.
