Default Condo Head Says Owner of Abandoned Condo is Moving Back In, She's Lying

My question involves a condominium located in the State of: Florida.

I have been living in a condo abandoned by it's owner (two and a half years ago) for the last 4 months. I signed a lease with the condo association (month to month). I asked the condo head if she had legal permission from the owner to do that, she said yes but I doubt it. Besides the fact she's lied to me at other times, when I signed the lease she said she hadn't heard from the owner for a long time and so was leasing the condo out. Thereafter she said he got in touch with her and said he saaid me staying here was OK.

On Nov. 2nd she came to me and said the owner wanted me out and wanted to move back in, had negotiated with mortgage people a new deal. Doubtful. She said she insisted to him I get 30 days notice. I never got any kind of formal notice.

On the 27th she called and said the owner was coming the next day and would change the locks. Previously she had been saying he'd come back in first week of Dec., couldn't get a particular date out of her. She says he's coming today or tomorrow to change locks.

I think she's lying. She doesn't like me, probably thinks she can kick me out and get someone to pay more rent (all my rent, and the rent of two other people here in a situation, has been going to condo dues in areas by owners).

I have no money and nowhere to go, what do I do? Have moved most of my stuff out into friend's garage. Do not want to get involved in a big fight and don't know how to change a lock but am sure I can work it out. Don't trust this woman, in a few days I won't be around much for 4 days - have family visiting South Beach. Am very concerned my cat doesn't get hurt.

Plan to ask her (again) for copy of lease in the morning, also copy of legal agreement she has with owner to rent place out (don't think it exists), also phone number of owner, who she says has just flown into the country after having been out for two and a half years.

    Help! Thanks.

PS I would rather turn this condo over to the mortgage people than give it to her. She got me to lie to Titanium who came asking about the owner, I said he lived here. Not sure how to get in touch with them for fast action, I sent them an email and didn't get an answer, will try again on phone today.

Among the other red flags in this scenario, this is the one I will address.

    In Florida:
Renting or Leasing or attempts to rent or lease real property of another for compensation.
requires a Florida Real Estate License.

It is illegal to provide real estate services in the State of Florida without such license.

Another red flag is under what authority did the condo association have to do anything with that unit until they foreclosed or took other action to recover it.
