Default Can I Move in with Extended Relatives

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Oklahoma

I am 17, and I am having trouble at home. I want to move in with my grandmother, but my mother won't have any of it. I'm capable of supporting myself, I have never been a rebellious child, and i have never had any troubles with the law (on my part). From what I understand, I am over the age of consent and can decide where I want to live, but my mothers reaction to this idea are telling me otherwise. Is there any way I could, legally, move in with my grandma? Thank you all, for your assistance in my situation

If the custodial parent will not permit it, you can not move. The "age of consent" (which is 16 by the way) has nothing to do with this. It covers when you're allowed to have consensual sex.

    You're stuck at home until you're 18.

Then you understand wrongly. The age of consent (when you can consent to sex) may be 16, but the age of majority (when you can move out against your parents' wishes) is 18.

Until you are 18, and not one minute before, you live where your mother says you live. If she says you may live with your grandmother, you may. If she says you may not live with your grandmother, then you may not.
