    Default Ex Taking Daughter Abroard

    Ive just found out my ex is moving to Spain tomorrow & is taking my 5yr old daughter.
    Can I stop her,I have her most weekends & have been told nothing of this.

    We need more details.

    Are you the legal parent? Are there any orders in place? Where are you located?

    How much contact do you have? How did you "find out" ?

    yes i am a legal parent on the birth certificate i am in england , i have my daughter every weekend, i found out via friends of my ex partner who warned me she has sold her car and possesions, and also my daughter has told me she is going to spain in 2 days and is reluctant discuss it any further.

    However, I'm European - and what you need to be looking for is "Hague Convention".
