My question involves police conduct in the State of: Texas
on 11/23/2011 I was driving westbound on Interstate I-30 when around 4:30 pm was pulled over by a city of royse,s texas pd he asked me for my insurance card which is expired said I was doing 79 on a 65 zone I told him that could not be possible cause I ,m driving on the right lane behind the big rigs cause I,m too tired my pick up truck has a governor limit of 70 mph my rear tires are wore out and traffic is heavy cause of thanksgiving and I,m too tire of driving and have a few more hours of driving to do so for me to be speeding is just not possible I came across so many states already and for someone to say I was doing wrong when I was not it just pisses me off .he said he was sure I was speeding and that he pointed his radar strait at my truck and was given a ticket for speeding ,the officer never mention my expired insurance card. I ,m from Washington State and I know because I,m from outside of town my chances of fighting this ticket are very slim ,That is very wrong for an officer to just give a citation for not reason and knowing that you cannot do anything about it ,you know it costs a lot of money and times are hard right now , plus insurance rates go up because of this ,I,m going to complaint he is wrong and knows it too . I,m going to write a complaint letter to the police department. you know I do have respect for police officers no doubt but officers that abuse the system are called different . I have had tickets in the past and never complaint cause I know I was doing wrong but this is a no go so I have to do something about it that ,s what the internet is for and I,m going to use it . Thanks.
