Default Divorce and "Entry of Appearance"

My question involves a marriage in the state of: NY

Does anyone know if you can file a 'voluntary entry of appearance' and a 'waiver of service' form in NY? It verifies that my spouse intends to waive service of summons and petition. I am planning to file a no-contest divorce (no children or shared property). I looked up the documents on the NY courts website where I downloaded the forms I will need to fill out but I cannot see any form at all for 'voluntary entry of appearance'. This would be really helpful since my husband is in Texas and I am in NY and will file from NY. It would be so much easier if we could skip the whole summons nonsense and waive the whole 30 days to respond.

    Thanks for the help
