Post Getting a Child's Name Changed

My question involves paternity law for the State of: Virginia

My brother has 2 children , and neither of the females gave them his last name. How is the best way to go about getting their name changed and giving his children his last name ? What are the chances we would win in court ?

Default Re: Gettin a Childs Name Changed

You won't win a thing, but your brother has at least a fair shot of getting their names either changed or at the very least hyphenated. form

This assumes that he's the legal father, and that he's had decent contact with both children.
