Default What Will Happen After Probation

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

I was put on probation in the state of California for three years already completed two of them. My restitution is about 9,000 (grand theft by embezzelment). My probation will expire in September of 2012, but what will happen to me if Im not even close to paying off my restitution??? This is the only negative thing on my record besides a DUI that i got before this happened. This was something really stupid I did. I know I will have to keep making monthly payment until paid off, but will my probation be extended or what will happen? Answers are greatly appreciated.

They can request an extension, they can roll it over to civil collections, there is no set protocol as to what can they do.
