My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Idaho
This weekend the school bookstore was offering 40% everything online. Normally stores have certain restrictions to discount coupons such as this restricting things like gift cards, under armor, tv's ect...
When making my purchase, I ordered two $500 dollar gift cards receiving them for $300 a piece. I went to pick up my order this evening at the bookstore when I was told that they were unable to fulfill my order because there was a mistake and it shouldn't have allowed gift cards to be purchased under that promotion code. I was professional but also let the employee and onsite manager know that I was not going to let this go easily. They told me that a store manager needed to deal with this and it will be resolved tomorrow.
I want to go into the school bookstore sounded as educated as possible and present my case so I will ultimately be able to receive everything I paid for in the order to be in the order, specifically two $500 gift cards at the price I purchased them for.
I want to know if they are legally bound to hold up to their side of the "contract". I have looked in the sites disclaimer and terms of use and no where does it say they have the right to cancel orders with out notice or reason like many other sites do.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Kurt

I've included a copy of my reciept below but removing some of my personal information. Looks like it didn't turn out too well but I can e-mail it to anyone who feel it would be helpful!
