    Default Abandoning Conditional Residency

    Hello,

I've been a conditional permanent resident for nearly two years now and I'm thinking of moving back to my country.
Until now I was filing jointly with my spouse, and only made $300 of income worling in the US this year.
If I chose to abandon my residency and not to file form I-751, is there anything I should worry about/file, so I can return to the US later under a tourist visa waiver for less than 90 days?

If you want to minimize the chance of complications, you can file form I-407 (Abandonment of Lawful Permanent Resident Status) and present a copy of that filing when you attempt to enter as a tourist.
