Visa Cancelled

i ve been married a us citizen for 2 years applied for immigrant visa but just before my interview we had a big fight we almost separated and he sent an email to the visa centre that they cancel the visa.they wrote back and said they wont do anything till he writes a statemnt now he regreting coz we sorted our issues out we want to know what is the fate of the visa.is it still being processed or they just stopped?can he re apply again if they stopped the processing. or what can he do.what are the consequences of his actions.

the marriage was genuine and the plan was for him to come to my country or i to his we choose his .if the visa people decides to cancel it can we apeal and if they cancel it when wil they inform us and wat will happen to my original documents.does that black list me from getting another visa.
