Unhappy Extorsion by a Deported Fellow -

I know everybody has rights under the workers comp law in California. BUT, if a fellow being not only an "illegal alien" but a "deported individual in violation of his promise to stay away from the US" tries to file a claim, how much "right" to claim does he have, given that he is in a very delicate migratory status?

Don't hire illegal workers and open yourselves up to breaking several laws and then complain, when you have to part with some of your ill gotten profits.

You need to speak to an attorney ASAP. If you aren't already aware, you and hubby could be facing CRIMINAL charges, and any criminal case, against you or the subject, are completely separate and apart from any worker compensation suit you may be defending.

this is a pretty bold fellow, given that he is not only an "illegal alien" but a "deported individual in violation of his promise to stay away from the US
And yet, rather than report his illegal return, you AIDED him by providing employment?

Ya gotta love those who readily break the law for profit, then complain when the same is done to them.

Well, I don't think most people would report. We are all human beings... some of us just seem to have healthier feelings than others.

It's healthier to break the law?

    You need an attorney. Now.

So you call exploitation for profit healthy. You are breaking laws on so many levels, yet you lie to yourself to justify it. Go figure.
