My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Georgia

-I am 17 years Old and just had a baby August 2011. I graduate in Decemeber & get off Probation in december also, is it legal for me to leave my parents house, me and my daughter, in january of '12 ? WITHOUT getting Emancipated, ? because by the time i try to do that, i will be 18.

Please answer this for me.

As long as you're under age, it's up to your parent/s where you live.

If you leave without permission, you can - and likely will - be returned. You would also (given your probation history) perhaps risk losing custody of your child, depending on the circumstances.

The age of majority in GA is 18. Until that time, your parents have complete legal authority to determine where you live. Being pregnant alone would cause the court to deny emancipation unless you were an independently wealthy millionaire. Having prior criminal justice issues, as evidenced by being on probation, would also be an automatic disqualifier for emancipation. Short story; you're stuck until 18.
