    Default H4 to H1b

    Hi Everyone,

    I have already applied for my H1.I am planning to travel to US on H4 (my wife is currently holding an H1 and working in US ).

    After my H1 get approved do i need to travel back to home country for stamping or can i do a change of status from H4 to H1 and start working in US?

    You can change your status from H4 to H1 while in the U.S.
