My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: PA
Hello, I am 6 months pregnant and will need to use up all my FMLA prior to my delivery as I am on complete bed rest, until delivery. My question is that I was informed by my HR department that by law they are not able to hold my position for me after I exhaust my 12 weeks, does this apply even though I am pregnant? Also if they do hire someone in my position after the delivery am I available for Unemployment? or Short Term Disability? Any answers or clarity with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
