My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: NY

I was fired on 8/5. I was contacted by the VP of HR on 8/30 and asked to explain what happened. When I finished telling her in my words what happened she offered me my position back. I asked for re-instatement, and for them to pay me vacation. On 9/1 they withdrew the offer of my job back. It was only after they offered me my job back that I applied for UI. I have been denied benefits and requested a hearing. As of 10/20 the determination has been withdrawn by the Administrative Judge Section, pending additional fact finding. Does the fact that they offered me my job back change things? Does it undermine their reasons for firing me if they changed their mind? Thanks for any help you can give. I have some hope that the Administrative Judge people who are looking into it may overturn the determination?
