My question involves real estate located in the State of: Massachusetts
A gentleman came to my door yesterday and told me that he was hired by my neighbor because she wanted to install a fence. We have been living here for 25 years. The surveyor returned today and has markers across the entire length of my backyard. There was a fence up when we bought our property and when she built her house about 12 years ago.
Is it true that after 20 years we can file for a title? If you could direct me it would be greatly appreciated.
