17 is Legal Age in Louisiana

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Louisiana
my son will be 17 soon and I pretty much know he has plans of running away. We have tried everything we can to get him to do well in school and act right and he thinks we are just horrible. He verbally abuses me and as much as it says it is going to change it does not. I have no idea what he will do but I also need peace. If he does run away am I at fault

17 only affects consensual sex. He's not a legal adult in La until he turns to 18. He'll be an illegal runaway.
