My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Arizona
I just want to know, as a private investigator, if you are careful when doing PI work for someone in a child custody case, as to the welfare of the child or do you always hand over information to the custodial parent no matter what?
For example, a parent comes to you as a private detective, wanting to hire you to do investigation work to find their child and you find out they are not the custodial parent but only have visitation. However, the custodial parent is possibly creating a bad environment, and you have evidence of this from your investigation. Do you hand info to criminal investigators? Do you assume criminal detectives will be careful and exercise best judgement or do you give the info such as address or other info to the non custodial parent?
