My question involves criminal law for the state of: California.

there's a girl i've been spending time with. we like each other, but i'd like to decide now versus later if truly it's a bad idea to form something with her.

she's 16, i'm 22.

if we don't have sex while she's under 18, could i still get in trouble? what about kissing? (holding hands, making out, being naked together, etc.)
